Sixty-five. 6-5. Six and a half decades on this planet, and the last four of them spent with me. I'm thankful for so many things on this dual holiday of Mother's Day and Tom Glaser's birthday, including:

  • The privilege of being a mom to the four babies I was blessed with, who grew into incredibly fine young men. (And the two babies that never made it into my arms but will permanently reside in my heart.)
  • The blessing of 7 grandchildren - one who shares his birthday with Tom today.
  • Still being able to celebrate my own Mom on Mother's Day, who is still with us and in good health.
  • And so much more...

But where would I be without this rock-solid beacon of strength, steadiness, faith, and unconditional love in my lifeAlthough I can't know for certain, I have no doubt that it wouldn't be anywhere this good. And for this, I am most thankful today and every day.

So, dear official senior citizen, Tom, I'm so glad you were born. Happy Birthday to (no contest) the better half of our dynamic duo. Let's "golden" these golden years together like no one has ever goldened before! (Or something like that.)

Love forever from that wild party girl you took a chance on all those years ago, you crazy Gambler.❤️
